Solid State Cooling Systems is a globally recognized leader in precision temperature control for a wide variety of market applications, including: analytical equipment, high speed lasers, medical lasers, optics, low light CCD cameras, biomedical equipment, medical equipment, semiconductors, aerospace & defense and other industrial applications.

Since the company was founded in 1994, we have developed a broad range of highly customizable, recirculating chillers using thermoelectric technology with cooling capacities ranging from 160 watts to over 14,000 watts. Our smallest unit, called UC160-190, measures just 5″ x 7″ x 7.5″ and weighs only 8 lbs. Most of our products deliver temperature control and stability of ±0.05°C or better.

With over 60,000 units shipped, our products have established a strong, positive reputation for long-life reliability, energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. By leveraging thermoelectric technology, our recirculating chillers do not use compressors, Freon or any other refrigerants, which makes our products inherently more reliable. As the world moves towards the elimination of harmful refrigerants, we offer a smart and green alternative. Our use of variable power thermoelectric technology makes our products up to 80% more energy efficient than chillers using compressors.
