The current macro environment in the semiconductor supply chain has caused semiconductor organization to be under multiple constraints, such as forecasted customer demand changes, business flexibility needs, and change in operations agile framework. The abstract specifically deep dives into an agile framework for Sourcing centralized organization which is part of the overall supply chain network. The sourcing group needs to develop, adopt and deploy an agile framework mechanism to support the overall business revenue growth plan. Key strategic mechanisms deployed by sourcing group to improve effectiveness amongst sourcing group, supply chain, and business line within the organization, are expanded further in this abstract. The mechanism includes two sections, Section 1) sourcing engagement with internal business lines [1], and Section 2) sourcing engagement with supply chain management. The robust framework mechanism enhances partner strategies within the organization which results in accelerated escalation resolution impacting customers and agile communication channel in reference to the supply, and demand outlook change. Section 1) framework deployed increases the effectiveness of sourcing partnership strategy with business lines. Section 2) framework deployed increases the effectiveness of the sourcing partnership strategy with supply chain organization managing demand outlook, inventory, and revenue plans. The mechanism deployed improves visibility, reduces variability, and increases velocity within the organization. Sourcing enhances the organization capability to manage supply crisis.
