The Semiconductor industry has transformed our lives over the past 30 years and will continue to shape the disruption that we will need in the decades that follow. These disruptions will require more and more semiconductors and electronics systems. Driven by 5G, AI, Autonomous driving, Edge computing, the world is changing, setting up unprecedented challenges for more connectivity, more efficiency, more intelligence and more sustainability. Ecodesign has become a must have in our industry, aiming to be efficient by controlling and minimizing the environmental impact of new technologies. This involves reducing the use of critical materials, reducing the use of water in industrial processes, reducing energy consumption, increasing the lifespan of systems and their reliability to allow reuse of components in a second life.
