Vice President of Business Development
Spartan Radar, CA, United States
Born and raised in Northern California, Cameron started his career in factory automation and robotics almost 20 years ago. Having worked for companies such as Keyence, Omron and Sick, he helped customers solve complicated sensing and safety application with a large range of technologies. As robotics and sensing technology slowly expanded to public roads, agriculture and mining Cameron shifted his focus from the factory floor to autonomous mobility. This market expanded rapidly while Cameron was working with quickly growing company called AutonomouStuff. With and office in San Jose, AutonomouSutff offered sensors, computers data storage and fully fledged autonomous research vehicles to most of the companies looking to profit in the autonomous mobility space. If you've seen a Lexus or Lincoln MKZ bristling with sensors on Bay Area roads, there is a very good change these came form AutonomouSutff. Combining his love of cars with his love or robotics , this was a perfect fit! Cameron sold research vehicles and perception sensors to all of the largest players in the Silicon Valley “Autonomous Gold Rush” from 2015-2020. Today as the VP of Business Development with Spartan Radar, he continues his quest to connect sensing application to the right technology with the goal of creating safe and deployable vehicle platforms across a number of vertical markets. Spartan offers a radar processing stack from an opperating system to higher level functions like tracking and identification. Our software is designed to work on the edge or in central processors and provides the capability to extract higher resolution data in all dimensions from the radar sensor using extremely computationally efficient algorithms.
