Christopher J Progler serves as executive vice president, chief technology officer and strategy, for Photronics Inc. a global manufacturer of photomasks for IC and flat panel display applications. At Photronics, Dr. Progler is responsible for global R&D, strategic ventures, advanced product development and planning. He has been active in advanced photolithography and mask making for over 30 years including previous employers IBM, Texas Instruments and ST Microelectronics along with various industry boards including mask equipment supplier IMS nanofabrication, EUV resist developer Inpria, micro LED equipmenet company Uniqarta, Cymer laser and mask joint ventures companies MP Mask (w/Micron Technology), PDMC Taiwan (w/DNP photomask) and PDMCX China (w/DNP photomask). Chris teaches university level courses in lithography, has chaired multiple conferences and, as an elected Fellow of SPIE, holds many contributed and invited papers in the fields of lithography and mask technology. He received his MS in Optics from the University of Rochester and Ph.D. in EE from University of Texas at Dallas.
