Julia L F Goldstein, PhD, founder of JLFG Communications, is an author and business owner on a mission to make manufacturing more environmentally responsible. She helps manufacturers build awareness about sustainability and develop consistent messaging that resonates with customers and employees.
Julia worked as a process development engineer in semiconductor packaging before migrating to journalism. She served as the technical editor for Advanced Packaging Magazine and later covered the printed electronics industry with a column in Industrial+Specialty Printing.
Julia holds a Ph.D. in materials science from UC Berkeley, an MS in materials science from Stanford University, and a BS in engineering from Harvey Mudd College. She is the award-winning author of "Material Value: More Sustainable, Less Wasteful Manufacturing of Everything from Cell Phones to Cleaning Products" and "Rethink the Bins: Your Guide to Smart Recycling and Less Household Waste." Her next book, "Beyond the Green Team," is coming out in the fall of 2022.
