Vice President Integrated Deposition Solutions, NM, United States
Integrated Deposition Solutions (IDS) has developed its next generation aerosol printing technology (trademarked NanoJetâ„¢) for printed electronics and bio-printing applications. This talk will cover recent characterization of the latest NanoJet printing technology, demonstrating consistent printing performance for extended operation. Details will be provided for line widths, line thickness and resistivity for continuous printing over an 8-hour period without operator intervention. Also, data will be shared on day-to-day repeatability and recent results for high output rate aerosol printing. The data presented will include print results using at least two different nanoparticle Ag ink formulations to demonstrate the process control capability of NJ. Data analysis will provide statistical results to describe print consistency, reflected on typical production settings. Application of aerosol printing for stud bumping and printing of high conductivity coils for embedded medical applications will be discussed.
