Rebecca Sivarajah, MD is an assistant professor of radiology at Penn State College of Medicine, Breast Imaging Division. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Honors program at Penn State University. Dr. Sivarajah then attended Penn State University for medical school where she also completed an internal medicine preliminary year and radiology residency. She then completed a breast and body fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA.
Following fellowship, Dr. Sivarajah spent 9 years in private practice radiology. Then, in June of 2017 she entered academic medicine joining the Penn State College of Medicine Radiology Department where she practices as a breast imaging radiologist. Her practice includes screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, and breast MRI and breast biopsies. She serves as the Breast Imaging Fellowship Director as well as the Medical Student Director for the Breast Imaging Section.
She enjoys outdoor activities including running, skiing, and swimming. She also enjoys watching her son and daughter's gymnastics meets and her son's soccer games and spending time with family.
