Louise Miller was the founder and former Director of the Mammography Practicum at the School of Medicine, University of California, San Diego. She has served as primary coordinator/faculty for seminars and workshops that provide didactic and hands-on positioning training for over 50,000 technologists in the US and worldwide. Louise is the Director of Education at Mammography Educators, San Diego, CA. She has authored two guidebooks on mammography positioning and image quality. Louise has recieved numerous awards and recognition for her contribution to breast imaging, which includes the SBI Honorary Fellowship Award. She serves on the ACR Advisory Committee for the Mammography Positioning Improvement Collaborative.
