Dr. Rita Sohlich is a board-certified Radiologist and breast imager who works at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, Sutter Health in Palo Alto, California. She trained at UCSF with her mentor, Dr. Edward Sickles.
Dr. Sohlich has worked in private practice for 20 years, starting in Marin County in 2001, where she started the breast MRI program and joined the first multidisciplinary tumor board in the region. In 2006, Dr. Sohlich moved to her current practice in Palo Alto, CA where she assisted in the planning of a breast imaging center with 16 million dollars of philanthropic funding. Here she serves as the breast imaging lead and works closely with a total of 7 other Radiologists with expertise in breast imaging in the Peninsula and East Bay regions of the California Bay Area.
