Dr. Helvie is the Trgve O. Gabrielsen Professor of Radiology at the University of Michigan Health System. He is board certified in both Radiology and Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow in the Society of Breast Imaging, the American College of Radiology, and Vice Chair of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Breast Cancer Screening & Diagnosis Panel. He has authored and co-authored over 300 publications and awarded numerous grants. His major research interests are patient care, screening, tomosynthesis, artificial intellegence, clinical outcomes, and management strategies.
