Laurie Fajardo, MD, MBA, FACR, FSBI is a Professor of Radiology at the University of Utah. Her research efforts have focused on all aspects of breast imaging including new methods and applications of digital technologies, most recently DBT and phase contrast breast imaging. Her contributions to science include the development and clinical evaluation of Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Digital Mammography, Digital Breast Tomosynthesis, and Phase I clinical testing of 2D and 3D Phase Contrast Breast Imaging.
