Sarah (Sally) M. Friedewald, MD, FSBI, FACR is the Vice Chair for Clinical Operations and the Division Chief of Breast and Women’s imaging for the Department of Radiology at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. She is also Medical Director of the Lynn Sage Comprehensive Breast Center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Friedewald received her medical degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. After a surgical internship, she attended the Diagnostic Radiology residency program at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Women’s Imaging at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
