Karen is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Chief of Breast Imaging Division at Duke University. She is the recipient of multiple teaching awards, a fellow in the SBI, and the Director of the Duke Diagnostic Radiology Residency. Karen sits on multiple departmental & national committees such as the Society of Breast Imaging’s Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Alliance, the Graduate Medical Education Committee on Appropriate Treatment for Learners, the Resident Wellness Task Force of the Association of Program Directors in Radiology, and the Women’s Health Community Engagement Task Force. These represent her combined passions for women’s health and medical education.
