Haydee Ojeda-Fournier, MD, FSBI, is a Professor of Radiology and breast imager at the University of California San Diego Health. She is trained in detecting early breast cancer utilizing multiple modalities, including mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, ultrasound, molecular breast imaging, and breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). She also performs image-guided breast biopsy to diagnose breast cancer, including MR-guided vacuum-assisted core biopsy. Dr. Ojeda has implemented new programs at UCSD including FNA, Molecular Breast Imaging, Digital Breast Tomosynthesis, abbreviated breast MRI program, and most recently lymphedema imaging. She has trained 36 fellows, 23 visiting scholars, and mentored 25 residents.
