A Tenured Professor at Stanford University, Dr. Ikeda served as Breast Imaging Section Chief from 1992-2016, is an SBI and ACR Fellow, leads the California Breast Information Group (CBIG), was lead author of the first ACR BI-RADS MRI Lexicon, authored 3 editions of “Breast Imaging: The Requisites”, published >130 original/scientific articles, >180 scientific/edcational abstracts and presented >325 USA/international educational presentations. Research includes mammographic positioning/image quality, DBT, MRI/DWI, IORT, tattoo/wireless/axillary localizations, MRI/Mammography AI, breast density, COVID-19 effects on breast imaging personnel/education/facilities, COVID-19 vaccination effects , interval cancer.
