Dr. Bethany Niell, MD, PhD is the Section Chief of Breast Imaging at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. After completing her residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital in 2010, she joined the MGH Division of Breast Imaging. In 2015, Dr. Niell transitioned to the Division of Breast Imaging at Moffitt Cancer Center. She is a board-certified subspecialty-trained breast radiologist. Her research interests focus primarily on the optimal utilization of breast imaging. Dr. Niell currently serves on the ACR-SBI Screening Leadership Group, the ACR government relations committee, and the ACR Appropriateness Criteria Breast Imaging Panel.
