Elizabeth McDonald, MD, PhD, FSBI, is at the University of Pennsylvania and co-directs the Penn Breast Cancer Translational Research Group, focusing on developing molecular imaging tests that aid personalized breast cancer treatment. Since starting at Penn just before 2014, Dr. McDonald has co-authored over 59 manuscripts and book chapters in the area of breast cancer screening, diagnostics, and personalized care in journals such as JAMA Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, JCI Insight (cover feature) and Cancer Research. She is currently on the Breast Cancer Clinical Steering Committee and is also Director of Breast MRI for the University of Pennsylvania.
