Edward A. Sickles, M.D. is Professor Emeritus of Radiology at the UCSF School of Medicine and served as Chief of the Breast Imaging Section at the UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco for almost 30 years. Dr. Sickles is a prolific contributor to breast imaging education and the scientific literature. He is a founding member and past president of the Society of Breast Imaging. He has been the recipient of numerous awards and special recognitions for his dedication, service, and contributions to breast imaging, including the Gold Medal of the Society of Breast Imaging.
