All breast radiologists are leaders. Formal departmental leadership roles include department chairs, vice chairs, program director, section or division chief, and fellowship director. There are also leadership roles that are outside of the department, within a health delivery system. Informal leadership roles are much more widespread, as breast radiologists direct the daily clinical workflow of breast imaging teams. This session will cover leadership effectiveness in the private practice and academic radiology environments.
