Moisture-associated skin damage. (MASD) is the umbrella term for four clinical manifestations and represents a significant problem that can have a negative effect on patient wellbeing and quality of life. This session will provide a deep dive into the etiology, risk factors, prevention and interventions across the spectrum of moisture associated skin damage.

1. Define Moisture Associated Skin Damage (MASD) and prevalent forms relevant to WOC specialty practice.
2. Review the latest codes for irritant contact dermatitis due to MASD.
3. Discuss the clinical relevance of these codes to all WOC nurses.
