The mainstay treatment of lymphedema has been conservative management comprising compressive garments, skin hygiene, limb compression, manual lymphatic drainage, and exercise. However, advances in supermicrosurgery have made way for surgical treatment options for lymphedema, including lymphovenous bypass and vascularized lymph node transplant. This session will weigh both mainstay treatment of lymphedema and recent advances in the field of lymphatic surgery
