Dr Paul Glat grew up in White Plains, New York. After graduating cum laude from Princeton University in 1984, Dr Glat attended medical school at New York University (NYU) and went on to complete extensive post-graduate training in general surgery. Dr Glat then received advanced training at NYU’s Institute for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He expanded his focus to include reconstructive surgery for children. Upon completing surgery fellowship at the Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia and at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Paul Glat joined the staff at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and began leading the Division of Plastic Surgery. He continues to hold that position in addition to now serving as both director of the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial programs.
