Daniel L. Kapp was born and raised in Miami. His Bachelor's Degree, in chemistry, is from the University of Virginia. He went on to receive his Medical Degree at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Kapp holds a medical license in both Florida and Ohio.
After medical school, he served as a clinical instructor in plastic surgery and general surgery at Ohio State University College of Medicine. An Anastasi Fellow in plastic surgery, Dr. Kapp was also a junior faculty member at Boston University Medical Center. Since that time, he has chaired numerous medical committees and written papers on reconstructive and cosmetic surgery topics.
Dr. Kapp is recognized as a foremost plastic surgeon offering the latest cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. His clinical expertise has won him many accolades including the Ohio State University Department of Surgery Research Award, Ohio State University Medical Director's Award, Upjohn & Pharmacia Award in Pharmacology and the Honors Award in Surgery from the University of South Florida College of Medicine.
