Dr. Aneta Sokolowska, DPM was born in Mielec, Poland and moved to United States with her family at the age of 17. She is a graduate of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, majoring in Biological Sciences. She obtained her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at New York College of Podiatric Medicine and is currently in her post graduate year 2 in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery Residency Program at Hoboken University Medical Center, Hoboken, NJ.
In addition to heavy surgical training with the main focus on sports medicine and trauma, she is receiving a substantial training in wound care and limb salvage at Bayonne Wound Care Center, Bayonne NJ. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach with her family and her German Shepherd puppy.
