Costs of prevention are always less than the costs of treatment. In this session, our speakers will address three common wound types: Pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers, looking briefly at causation, then focusing on prevention; both the original wound as well as recurrence providing "use on Monday" clinical pearls.

Learning Objectives:

Review the primary causative factors for pressure, diabetic and venous wounds.
Discuss the challenges of prevention with each type.
Describe reasonable and reproducible interventions for successful prevention.
