What happens when we shift our conception of medicine from curing to caring? This session provides guidance in easing suffering and improving quality of life for patients with serious, non-healing wounds. We will discuss common types of palliative wounds, focusing dressing management on quality of life, and how to document measurable outcomes when the focus is no longer wound closure.
