Typically, electric power resilience for microgrids is defined as "how long can the microgrid support the facility after the grid goes down?" Unfortunately, a single deterministic metric is an oversimplification of a nuanced, stochastic concept. The complexity in quantifying and evaluating resilience, proposing new metrics for resilience, and how to talk to site hosts about what to expect from their resilient power systems is the focus of this presentation.
