Across the country, increased solar access for low- and moderate-income (LMI) communities is vital to advancing climate justice and supporting community solar growth. Community solar, a fast-growing industry segment, is one of the most effective ways to achieve this. This session will explore why LMI participation via community solar is both a smart business opportunity and an ideal way to spread the benefits of renewables to our most underserved populations, including best practices, financing mechanisms, utility relationship management, risk and challenges, and investment opportunities.
