Three out of five small businesses are concerned about their carbon footprint and environmental impact, while nearly all small businesses (97%) would like to take action to be more environmentally responsible. However, small businesses are relatively less involved in efforts to mitigate climate change when compared to larger corporations, as they are understandably short on time, people, and resources, which means sustainable solutions can be out of reach or deprioritized. This session will explore how small businesses and nonprofits can play a more critical role in addressing our changing climate, while greatly benefiting their bottom line in the process.
