PV solar facilities are typically designed using industry-standard DC/AC ratio of 1.2. This session will explore the hypothesis that due to much cheaper modules the optimum ratio is 1.6-1.8, or higher, potentially freeing developers to consider much higher DC/AC ratios to improve project economics and take better advantage of time of use power pricing.
