The solar in schools movement has been growing steadily as educators, students, facility managers, and administrators strive to operate sustainably and play a part in the decarbonization of our economy. This movement represents both a pathway for states to achieve their goals, and an opportunity for EPCs, developers, financiers, owner/operators, and other stakeholders in the renewables industry. The presentation will provide practical advice about the issues related to financing, technology, board approvals and permitting, while also exploring at opportunities for growth for institutions pursuing solar and green operations.
