He likes to build tools (and trainings) to help the solar industry incorporate batteries into their projects. The poster project content has been converted into a design software! If you would like to beta test, please fill out the following form: https://zfrmz.com/5ZNbQJksOn0pl6elO6OS
About Fortress Power Please come by and visit booth #3614 Fortress Power manufacturers lithium iron phosphate batteries for residential and commercial application. Its product line features easy to install components suitable for a wide variety of environments, automotive-grade cells and BMS hardware, and UL9540a test certifications.
About the poster: The solar battery industry deserves needs better ways to present system value to their customers. Most customers do not want their buildings to be 100% off-grid, but describing lesser systems based on peak performance capability does not accurately represent how a solar battery actually performs in backup mode. Batteries are depicted as "1 hour" or "2 hour" systems running at full capacity, when in fact they acheive significantly longer run times based on solar performance and variable building load. Instead, emphasizing reductions in grid utilization factor more accurately describes the amount of grid indepence acheived through installing these systems. The poster will highlight Fortress Power's interally developed energy model, educating the audience how to best describe the value of grid-connected solar batteries to their end users by highlighting the reductions in grid utilization acheived when comparing minimum battery bank sizes against slightly larger systems. In doing so, we promote much needed, new conversation on how to optimimize the design of behind-the-meter solar battery systems.
