The solar sector has grown at an average annual rate of 33% over the last decade. In this context, how are the developers making sure that the industry is maintaining the quality level while keeping up with this increasing demand? It is, therefore, important for developers to trust a technical expert that will act in their interest. As Bureau Veritas has extensive experience from Clients around the world for Owner’s Engineer services, we are presenting in this poster the different technical steps to apply for a successful investment in a Solar + BESS system. Topics of consideration for this effort have included the different phases of the development such as the Site Assessment, Design, Procurement, Construction and the Asset Operation phase. Particular attention has been given on listing the different risks faced in the aforementioned phases and their respective mitigation technics. The adoption of these technical assessments will support the solar community by allowing projects delivered on time and to the best standards.
