Kathleen E. Moore is a consulting meteorologist who has been doing research on the atmospheric boundary layer for more than 35 years, and consulting in renewable energy (solar and wind) since 2000. She holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science, as well as an M.S. in Plant Pathology and a B.S. in Forest Biology. She has consulted in solar energy resource assessment using both pyranometer and satellite measurements, solar energy forecasting, and solar project energy projection due diligence. Her company, Integrated Environmental Data, LLC has done data quality monitoring, assessment, and reporting on more than 6,000 months’ worth of solar data over more than 500 sites in locations across North and South America. While at the University at Albany she was awarded an NSF grant to research the use of multispectral shadowband measurements of the radiation environment of forest canopies. Dr. Moore is the owner of Integrated Environmental Data, LLC.
A Certified Consulting Meteorologist, Dr. Moore is a member of the American Meteorological Society, the American Geophysical Union, and the American Solar Energy Society. She is an FAA licensed drone pilot. Integrated Environmental Data, LLC is a NYS-Certified Woman-owned Business Enterprise.
Integrated Environmental Data’s primary areas of expertise are in meteorological data analysis, meteorological instrumentation, remote sensing, and model output analysis for solar and wind energy development. IEDat focuses on building customer value by efficiently extracting information from large datasets.
