Alexander Eigner got his electrical power engineering degree [Dipl.-Ing. (FH)] in 1998 from Munich University of Applied Sciences and his Master’s degree from the same university in 2001. He was a development and test engineer at the switchgear manufacturer Driescher Moosburg, Germany, from November 1998 to August 2001. After this he joined TE Connectivity (Raychem), Ottobrunn, in 2001 as an application engineer. In the year 2007 he became head of the high-voltage cable accessories department EMEA and since 2016 he was responsible for the complete global high-voltage cable accessories portfolio. Since 2021 he’s responsible for the HV-Solution division of TE Energy. He is an active member of IEEE, VDE, IEC and CIGRE.
