Kurt Lyell is an experienced professional engineer with a focus on renewable energy and carbon emissions reduction solutions. Mr. Lyell has more than 24 years of engineering experience including over 18 years in renewable energy, supporting the development of solar photovoltaic projects, battery energy storage systems, microgrids, and heavy-duty transportation solutions.
Mr. Lyell supports clients in the feasibility, design, and construction stages of solar PV project development. He has overseen the planning, permitting, procurement, and development of hundreds of megawatts of solar PV projects for private developer, integrated energy company, utility, municipal government, and national government clients worldwide. Over 90- percent of project studies have advanced to construction phases. More than 40 of these projects are currently in operation, including 50 MW in Jordan, 10 MW in UAE, 100 MW in Australia, over 400 MW in Canada, and more than 500 MW in the USA.
Mr. Lyell has authored and co- authored several papers and posters that were presented at leading domestic and international conferences. Publications and conferences include Solar Power International, IEEE PV Specialists Conference, The Military Engineer, World Energy Forum, EUCI, PVSEC, Central Texas Clean Cities, and others.
