Michael Ginsberg is a renewable hydrogen and solar energy specialist, buildings systems consultant, and author with 15+ years of experience developing utility-scale solar + storage and microgrid projects worldwide. Michael specializes in the techno-economics and scalability of polymer electrolyte membrane electrolyzer systems as a Doctor of Engineering Science candidate at Columbia University. Ginsberg has supported clean energy initiatives for numerous organizations, including the US Department of State, the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, the New York City Mayor's Office of Sustainability and Long-Term Planning, Con Edison, and the NY State Energy Research and Development Authority. He is the author of several books on renewable energy and deep decarbonization, and a frequent trainer for Urban Green Council on building energy efficiency, NY energy codes, electric vehicles and Local Law 97. He is a LEED AP O+M, CEM, NABCEP PV Installation Professional, and holds a MS in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.
