Jake Gentle is a Senior Program Manager and Power Systems Engineer for Idaho National Laboratory’s National and Homeland Security Directorate. Gentle leads and develops technology and provides technical oversight for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER), and Office of Electricity (OE), U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), and several electric power industry partners. Gentle has been the INL Laboratory Relationship Manager to the Department of Energy’s Wind Energy Technologies Office (WETO) for nearly 10 years, with time spent in Washington DC (2014-2016) in an outplant position with DOE.
