Alexis Pascaris, Founding Director of AgriSolar Consulting, is a social scientist and policy specialist with an expertise in dual-use solar (i.e. agrivoltaic) research and development. Pascaris holds a M.S. in Environmental and Energy Policy from Michigan Technological University and has diverse experience in addressing social, political, and technical barriers to large-scale renewable deployment in academia, industry, and non-governmental organizations. Her speciality lies at the intersection of environmental policy (energy and land use), solar PV, community engagement, and sustainable development. Pascaris founded AgriSolar Consulting (a small, private, woman-owned consulting company) to develop pathways with reduced barriers and uncertainties for agrivoltaic solutions. Combining academic rigor with industry experience, Pascaris' work involves using stakeholder engagement to inform innovative policies and best practices for agrivoltaics. Her personal mission is to promote synergies between solar & agriculture to enhance community resilience, farm viability, and achieve our renewable energy goals.
