Jen Bristol

Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA)

Jen Bristol is the director of communications for the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) where she leads external communications. Jen specializes in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, brand management, and content creation.

Before joining SEIA, Jen supported the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Energy Technologies Office for nearly four years. There, she provided communications support for the office and led its awardee engagement efforts, editorial calendar, web presence, and special communication projects and events. Prior to supporting the U.S. Department of Energy, Jen worked at the GW Solar Institute where she was responsible for managing the Institute’s public affairs portfolio and office operations.

Jen is passionate about public service and was elected in November 2016 and again in 2018 to be an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner in the U St and Columbia Heights neighborhoods in Washington, DC.

Jen is originally from Stony Brook, NY and has a master's degree in public administration from the George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
