This presentation reviews the role of Clinical Pharmacology (CP) in the accelerated development of repurposed and novel COVID medicines and examines where CP could play a greater role. The impact of COVID-19 on patient expectations, rise of medicine hesitancy, acceleration of development timelines, and acceptance of telehealth are explored as drivers for change. CP's role in scientific advocacy will be examined. Increased utilization of RWD, DCTs, digital health, MIDD, and remote workforce are examined.
