Dr. Anette Müllertz is professor at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark (UCPH) and head of center at Bioneer:FARMA. She did her PhD in chemical engineering at the Technical University of Denmark and then spend 9 years at Novo Nordisk A/S. In 1998 she joined UCPH, where she is heading the Physiological Pharmaceutics Research Group, focusing on developing predictive biopharmaceutics tools for oral drug delivery and lipid-based drug delivery systems. She is leading pharmaceutical research at Bioneer:FARMA, a research-based, non-for-profit service provider within the area of pharmaceutical development. She has published 240 papers in international, peer-reviewed journals (h-factor: 66, 12920 citations, I10 index: 210 (Google Scholar 14/9-22). She is / has been supervising 12 post docs, 53 PhD students and numerous master students, primarily at the University of Copenhagen, but also at other universities. She was a driving force in the EU sponsored Innovative Medicines Initiative Consortium Oral Biopharmaceutics Tools (OrBiTo; http://www.orbitoproject.eu), as co-lead of the API characterization work package.
