Suyash is a Ph. D. Candidate at St. John’s University, New York, with a specialization in Industrial Pharmacy. In 2015-19, Suyash studied Bachelor of Technology, with a Major in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology at the Institute of Chemical Technology, India. Under the guidance of Dr. Nitesh Kunda, Suyash is currently working on nanoparticle-based inhalation therapy for the treatment of lung cancer and infectious diseases. His research is majorly focused on developing lipid and polymeric nanoparticles for the delivery of chemotherapeutic and repurposed drugs. He has commendable experience performing cell and bacteria culture studies and has successfully tested nanoformulations against lung cancer and pulmonary tuberculosis in vitro. In addition, he is quite proficient with dry powder preparation techniques such as spray-drying and freeze-drying. Suyash has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles over the last 3 years.
