Paulina Jakubiak is a Scientist in the Preclinical and Translational PK/PD Department within Development Sciences at Genentech. She applies preclinical animal and in silico models to guide the design, delivery, and development of novel therapeutics in ophthalmology and oncology. In her role, she focuses on approaches to translate preclinical PK/PD to support first-in-human dose selection. She is actively contributing to the development of new long-acting ocular drug delivery systems and technologies with a patient-centric view.
Prior to joining Genentech, Paulina completed an industrial PhD program within Pharmaceutical Sciences at Roche in Basel, Switzerland and received her doctoral degree from the University of Eastern Finland.
