Senior Scientist
Pfizer
Boulder, Colorado
I grew up in New York, just north of New York City (Rockland County) and then moved to Pennsylvania for my undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at Villanova University. I completed my PhD in Chemical Engineering at the City College of New York in New York City where my dissertation research focused on the stability of and interactions between novel materials (anisotropic Janus particles) at the air-water interface. After graduate school I worked as a postdoc at CU Boulder focused on characterizing functional properties of membrane materials using nanoparticle tracking to study and develop models for transport behavior through membranes.
Currently, I work as a Senior Scientist for the Molecular Pharmaceutics group within Pfizer in Boulder, CO. My work is focused in early stage oncology drug research and involves characterizing physiochemical properties, early stage formulation development and identifying/mitigating biopharmaceutics risks of small molecule therapeutics from early discovery to Phase 1 Clinical trials. Outside of work I love: gardening, hiking with my dog, beekeeping, musical theater, and cooking.
