Chief scientific officer
NeuroDex Inc
I am the Chief Scientific Officer and founding scientist of NeuroDex, a startup biotechnology company committed to developing diagnostic tests for diverse neurological conditions. I have extensive experience in molecular neuroscience extracellular vesicles (EV) research amd in particular of neuron-derived EVs, with over 27 publications in peer-reviewed journals. I was among the first to study EVs at the National Institute on Aging, developing immunoaffinity base isolation and profiling methodologies. After leaving the NIA, I worked as a senior scientist in Exosome Diagnostics Inc., where I spearheaded the research and development of several companion biomarkers development programs. Currently, as chief scientific officer at NeuroDex, a company I have founded, I am highly motivated to develop and commercialize EV-based assays for the stratification of different pathologies of dementia.
