Dr. Xiaoshu Pan is a postdoctoral fellow mentored by Prof. Mei He in Department of Pharmaceutics, University of Florida. Dr. Pan has significant publications regarding in vitro SELEX, targeted molecular medicine for cancers and neurodegenerative diseases during her PhD study in nucleic acid therapeutics. Dr. Pan currently is investigating an exosome-based allele-specific gene editing platform for hearing loss diseases collaborated with Dr. Hinrich Staecker from University of Kansas medical center, by leveraging emerging exosome-based delivery in inner ear and allele-specific genome editing design to target hearing loss mutations.
