Sreedhara (pronounced Sreeder) has a PhD in Chemistry and postdoctoral experience in Biochemistry (from Ohio State) and Molecular Biology (from Yale). He is currently a Staff Scientist in Pharmaceutical Department at Genentech, Inc. He has over 20 years of experience in the biotechnology industry. He has extensive experience working with biologics (peptides, proteins and nucleic acids) and has worked on several approved products, including mAbs, ADC and a first fixed dose combo product for mAbs. Prior to joining Genentech he has worked at Battelle Memorial Institute and Johnson & Johnson wherein he worked on protein stabilization as well as small molecule formulation development for controlled release applications. He has over 50 publications, 4 book chapters, 5 issued US patents, several patent applications and an invited speaker at various national and international conferences. Currently he is also an adjunct associate professor at Univ. Kansas, a scientific advisor for J. Pharm. Sci and serves as a reviewer for Mol. Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Research, J. Pharm. Sci, Biotech. Progress and mAbs. In his spare time Sreedhara is an avid bird photographer and enjoys traveling.
