Katerina Storchmannova, MS, is a PhD student at the Department of Physical Chemistry at Palacky University in Olomouc in the Czech Republic. Her PhD study is focused on chemical databases and their analysis. Also, she is a member of the team which develops MolMeDB - the database about interactions of small molecules with membranes and membrane proteins. Currently, she is the lead researcher of a student grant project at Palacky University in Olomouc. Within the project, she and her colleagues study the effects of functional groups on interactions with membranes. The first results of this project, she would like to present to you on Wednesday.
